Colonialism Taking Our Lands and Rewiring Our Minds.
Colonial takeover in the Muslim world came in three quiet but deadly waves:
1️⃣ Conquer and Crush
First came the armies. From Egypt to India to Algeria, colonial powers targeted warrior classes and religious scholars, bombed mosques and madrasahs, and dismantled any structure that could resist.
2️⃣ Reprogram the Soul
Next came the missionaries and secular reformers. Christian schooling or moral “civic” education was used to weaken Islamic values, language, and social ethics. Arabic was replaced by French or English. Spiritual resilience was replaced with obedience to empire.
3️⃣ Occupy the Mind
Then came the Freemasonic lodges and elite reform circles. These weren’t just clubs — they were ideological factories. They rewrote the curriculum, took over waqf institutions, and transformed seminaries like al-Azhar into state-controlled training grounds for bureaucrats. Islam wasn’t erased. It was tamed.
